How long has your association been active?
The association came into existence in June 2025 by registering under the Society Registration Act.
What milestones or achievements has the association accomplished so far?
In four months, the association reinstated rent payments and cleared outstanding arrears for delivered projects including Tech-1, Tech-2 and WTC One-C in Greater Noida.
This was achieved through collaboration with stakeholders, including Micromax as tenant, and by overcoming roadblocks with RSK, the current trustees.
The next priority is a permanent resolution to trust and rental challenges across delivered projects, along with action to restore ownership and pursue completion or recovery through legal channels.
How does the association plan to deal with delivered projects and their future?
After securing majority support from investors in TEC 1, TEC 2, One-A, One-B and One-C, the plan is to resolve tenancy regularity, timely rent disbursement, account statements and trust management under the Indian Trust Act, including forming a new trust if required.
I have received a refund order from RERA. What steps should I take to actually recover my money?
A RERA refund order is important, but actual recovery remains challenging because funds have been diverted. One key priority is to take lawful control of undelivered projects as an association, complete construction, and enable investors to receive rental income from their properties.
The Enforcement Directorate has attached all WTC assets. What does this mean for our status now?
The ED attachment of Plot TZ-13A and TZ-13B at Tech Zone, Greater Noida, and Plot A-02-1 in Sector 132, Noida, helps ensure the assets are not further misused. The association seeks customer cooperation to pursue legal options, including detaching delivered projects where possible.
What does the association plan to do about pending registration of investors whose registry has not been done yet?
After securing majority support in delivered projects at Plot 13A, the association plans to correct the functioning of RSK or form a new trust for smooth trust operations and investor support within the framework of law.
As a senior citizen who invested my savings in WTC, what are the chances of recovering my investment?
Many WTC investors are senior citizens and retired individuals. The association is committed to raising their concerns across forums, pursuing legal remedies, maximizing asset value, and working toward completion of pending projects or refunds for affected investors.
How is your association different from other groups or forums?
The association has clearly defined objectives and a blend of technical and legal expertise. It focuses on restoring ownership, completing pending work where possible, maximizing asset value, pursuing refunds with interest and penalties where needed, exposing fraud, and building a collective platform to resist builder misconduct.
